Since 1984, St. Kitts and Nevis has offered a citizenship-by-investment program. Prospective citizens must either donate a minimum of 250,000 to state−approved funds or social initiatives, or invest at least 325,000 in qualified real estate.

Property investments become eligible for resale after a seven-year holding period. While the application process is handled remotely, all applicants and their dependents are required to submit biometric data in person at designated centers in St. Kitts and Nevis, the UAE, or China.

The program extends to spouses, children, and parents, and citizenship status is hereditary.

9 benefits of St Kitts and Nevis citizenship
  • Second citizenship
St Kitts and Nevis allows dual citizenship. Applicants get a second passport without renouncing their first one. Citizenship is granted for life and passed on to future generations.
  • Passports for the whole family
Along with the main applicant, St Kitts and Nevis citizenship is granted to a spouse, children up to 29 years old inclusive, and parents.
  • Visa-free travel
With a St Kitts and Nevis passport, investors can freely enter 133 countries. In 24 of them, a visa is issued on arrival, and for another 6, an eTA must be obtained.
  • Opportunity to take business to a new level
Investors may register companies in St Kitts and Nevis. This simplifies work with foreign partners and enables settlements without currency control.

  • Tax optimisation
Tax residents of St Kitts and Nevis do not pay tax on dividends, interest, or royalties. There are also no taxes on salaries, capital gains, or inheritance.

  • Refundable real estate investments
Investors buy real estate as individuals. Investments can be recovered after 7 years. Before that, they may earn rental income.

  • No residence requirements
Investors and their family members are not required to live in the country. They may visit at any time.

  • Sponsorship available
Expenses may be covered by a sponsor. A sponsor may be the main applicant’s parents or children. A birth certificate is required to confirm the family relationship.

  • Safe haven
Citizens may enter St Kitts and Nevis at any time and stay without limitation. This is useful in case of emergencies or crises in their country of residence.
